A stunning historic estate located in the heart of Cheshire. Set within 1,000 acres of parkland, featuring a grand mansion, 50 acres of gardens, a working farm, and hosting over 100 events annually. Whether you're into history, nature, or family fun, there's always something to enjoy.
Due to recent shifts in our deer herd’s behaviour, aligned with the pre-rut season, our Knutsford Gate entrance is closed until further notice.
Alternative access routes include
- Pedestrians: Dog Wood Gate, Knutsford (what3words:///glider.airports.crows)
- Vehicles and cyclists: Main Rostherne Gate entrance (Postcode: WA16 6SG)
Tatton Park remains open, with all attractions, activities and events continuing as planned.
If you encounter deer during your visit, please take an alternative route and follow this advice, as stags can exhibit aggression if approached:
- Always maintain a safe distance of at least 50m or more
- Never walk between deer
- Never stand between deer and a fence
- Stay alert to your surroundings
- Do not approach deer for photos
