Tatton Park Enterprises Ltd. provides the contracted catering service for Tatton Park. The Business operates across The Stables Restaurant, The Gardener’s Cottage Tea Room and Corporate Buffets in the Mansion House.
It is essential that the Sous Chef has creative culinary skills, matched with a good work ethic allowing them to make the most of the finest produce available.

You will be able to produce to a consistent high standard and be confident in all aspects of food preparation and service.
In the absence of the Head Chef you will be expected to step into this role.
The Sous Chef for Tatton Park Enterprises Ltd. requires a true motivating leader, with the desire and ability to make a difference, a passion for food and strong organisational skills with a drive for the details are paramount. The Sous Chef will oversee and take responsibility for the high quality standards of all food produced on site and its profitability through the control of target KPI Margins for the Business. Working along side the Restaurant Manager to drive the delivery across the whole operation of the Business, in line with the growth of the Catering Service provided to Tatton Park whilst applying its brand and values.
You will be expected to delegate the team as necessary. We require you to have the willingness to continue your learning which we will support with any training requirements. We expect that you will pass on your knowledge to junior members of the kitchen team.
Regular weekend work will be undertaken and as The Sous Chef you will also be responsible for the training and delegation of the team of kitchen and operational staff to ensure exemplary customer service standards are consistently delivered. The continued implementation of legislative Standards of Health and Safety are a must.
You're a passionate hands on Chef with a proven history of staff management and training. Being equipped with Industry standard qualifications and relevant experience in a similar role are essential to be considered for the position. You can deliver and drive all aspects of kitchen food production and financial cost control with experience, confidence and knowledge. A strong understanding of IT and excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
