A Plant Mad Garden with Alan Pratt
Join us for an inspiring talk with renowned plantsman Alan Pratt as he shares his passion for horticulture in A Plant Mad Garden.
A highly respected garden consultant, Alan is currently working on plant identification at Kew Gardens and is responsible for plant labelling at the celebrated Gresgarth Garden in Lancashire. His impressive horticultural career spans more than 40 years and includes serving as a member of the Royal Horticultural Society Trials Committee, as well as chairing one of its prestigious plant trials.
Alan is a former holder of the National Fritillaria Collection and co-author of The Gardener's Guide to Growing Fritillarias. He has appeared on BBC Gardeners' World, featured in the RHS Garden Magazine, and was awarded an RHS Gold Medal in 2006. With decades of lecturing experience, he is sure to offer a fascinating and entertaining insight into the world of plants.
There will also be an opportunity to purchase a selection of rare plants brought along by Alan.
