Description

Three images of costumed characters from the 1940s.

Step back to 1941 to explore life on the Home Front and learn skills that supported the war effort.

The year is 1941. With Britain deep in the midst of the Second World War, Maurice Egerton, Baron of Tatton Park, invites you to his country estate for a day away from the city and the hardships of wartime life. Step into the past to discover how families lived, worked, and adapted on the Home Front, and learn practical skills that ordinary people used to support the war effort.

This immersive event is recommended for families with children aged 7–11 years. Each child must be supervised by an adult and everyone attending the event should purchase a ticket. Please be aware that the Old Hall is an unheated, period building, so to maximise your enjoyment, please ensure you are dressed for the outdoors.
