Enjoy a fantastic lecture from horticulturist and nurseryman, Michael Myers, all about ferns for the garden! Learn about caring and propagating ferns, including some tender species, as well as the history of growing ferns. 

Mr Myers has had a lifelong interest and career in horticulture and has been a member of the Alpine Garden Society since the 1980s. He started work at Harlow Carr; studied horticulture at Askham Bryan College, completing a placement in the alpine department at RHS Wisley. Mr Myers also studied Plant Biology at Leeds University, has a Master’s degree in fungal technology and completed postgraduate research on mycorrhizas.
