Join Viking Warlord, Harald Bloodaxe, and his trusted Thrall at Tata’s Tun
They have set up temporary camp on their perilous journey from Yorvik (the Viking Capital of Northumbria) to the old Roman fortress of Deva, to see the Warrior Queen of Mercia, Aethelfraeda, the daughter of Alfred the Great. Become one of Harald’s Shield Warriors or Shield Maidens and learn about Viking history and their way of life, through an engaging workshop and series of hands on activities in the atmospheric surroundings of Tatton Park’s ancient Old Hall.
