In addition to our standard programmes, we are very happy to facilitate guided tours of any area of Tatton Park for school groups. These tours relate directly to the history of our site and its links to wider local, national and international history. Generally, they are intended for older school groups (Key Stage 3 and 4), as they do not include hands on activities. However, we are always very happy to accommodate bespoke requests from schools with younger audiences.
Tours are available for:
- Old Hall
Guided tours can provide a general introduction to the site in question, or focus on a more specific area - for instance, art, nature etc.
Guided tours are usually 60-90 minutes, depending on the site you are visiting. You may book more than one tour in a day (see pricing below), but please consider the walking distance between sites - we will be happy to advise you on best combinations for your needs.
Please contact us to discuss requirements.
This experience is charged at £4.80 per child for a 60 or 90 minute workshop (depending on site). If you require a lunchroom, this will be an additional hire fee of £20.
If you choose to book a second experience to make a full day at Tatton Park, the entire day will be charged at £7.80 per child - a discount of £3.00 per head. This includes the hire of a lunchroom facility.
Make an enquiry using our Schools Enquiry form or contact us to discuss your requirements at firstname.lastname@example.org / 01625 374428.
