Tatton Park Enterprises Ltd. provides the contracted catering service for Tatton Park. The Business operates across The Stables Restaurant, The Gardener’s Cottage Tea Room and Corporate Buffets in the Mansion House.

The Gardener's Cottage was previously awarded the prestigious title at the `Cheshire Life` Food & Drink Awards 2017, for The Best, Tearoom / Cafe of the year.

At Tatton Park we offer a quality hospitality experience, reflecting the best in British food, using high quality fresh produce; where possible locally sourced British ingredients. This including Tatton Parks Estate reared and grown produce including Venison, Pork, Rare Breed Lamb and Beef with Fruit and Vegetables from the historic Walled Kitchen Garden.

The Role

The position of Head Chef for Tatton Park Enterprises Ltd. requires a true motivating leader, with the desire and ability to make a difference, a passion for food and strong organizational skills with a drive for the details are paramount. The Head Chef will oversee and take direct responsibility for the high quality standards of all food produced on site and its profitability through the control of target KPI Margins for the Business. Working along side the Restaurant Manager to drive the delivery across the whole operation of the Business, in line with the growth of the Catering Service provided to Tatton Park whilst applying its brand and values.

Regular weekend work will be undertaken and as The Head Chef you will also be responsible for the training and delegation of the team of kitchen and operational staff to ensure exemplary customer service standards are consistently delivered. The continued implementation of legislative Standards of Health and Safety are a must.

The Person

You are passionate hands on Chef with a proven history of staff management and training. Being equipped with Industry standard qualifications and relevant experience in a similar role are essential to be considered for the position. You can deliver and drive all aspects of kitchen food production and financial cost control with experience, confidence and knowledge. A strong understanding of IT and excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.

Marketing Assistants

Tatton Park Marketing Assistants work as part of a team to promote this large heritage visitor attraction to local, regional and international vistors. The role is critical to the success of the organisation and involves working across a wide range of marketing communications channels such as digital, public relations, advertising, design and print.

One full-time and one part-time vacancy are available for the position of Marketing Assistant, both on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will work with the rest of the marketing team to deliver Tatton Park's marketing plan in support of the attraction's strategic and operational objectives.

These rewarding posts are available to applicants with previous marketing experience who can demonstrate knowledge and success in both on and off line marketing activity, including social media channels, website, database and budget management, public relations, advertising, promotions, research, product development, design, print and desk top publishing design skills.

Applicants should possess a minimum of NVQ level 3, or equivalent qualification/experience, incorporating a significant component of marketing and/or tourism, and ideally a CIM qualification, or be currently working towards this. The ability to be organized, creative and flexible and to enjoy taking responsibility for delivering high quality work in a multi-disciplinary environment, often within tight deadlines, is essential.

Sous Chef, competitive salary + bonus pay scheme and pension

The Role

It is essential that the Sous Chef has creative culinary skills, matched with a good work ethic allowing them to make the most of the finest produce available.

This is a responsible, creative job where you can really flex your talents.

You will be able to produce to a consistent high standard and be confident in all aspects of food preparation and service.

In the absence of the Head Chef you will be expected to step into this role.

The Sous Chef will oversee and take responsibility for the high quality standards of all food produced on site and its profitability through the control of target KPI Margins for the Business. You will be expected to delegate the team as necessary. We require you to have the willingness to continue your learning which we will support with any training requirements. We expect that you will pass on your knowledge to junior members of the kitchen team.
