Field to Fork at the Mansioncostume ball web

The Mansion’s kitchens and cellars tell the story of food preparation at Tatton Park, whilst above stairs you can learn about the banquet served at one of Tatton’s most talked about high society events - the costume ball held in 1897. Find out more about the food served, the distinguished guest list, the costumes they wore and the music they danced the night away to, in our Tatton Ball exhibition. Don't miss seeing the recently purchased portraits by Marchetti, or Earl and Countess Egerton painted in their splendid Ball finery.

Also visit the 'Maurice Egerton Kenyan Legacy Exhibition', which explores his Kenyan estates and farms, and offers an intriguing insight into his life overseas.
