The Secret Path Trail with Percy the Park Keeper 2 April - 13 June
Enjoy a delightful family trail in Tatton Park’s spring gardens, inspired by Nick Butterworth’s book, ‘The Secret Path’. Follow winding pathways to help Percy take care of nature and wildlife. Stop off for a selfie or two at Percy’s potting shed where you can enjoy the sights and scents of spring before heading off to finally track down his furry animal friends. Look out for the peaceful Forest Bathing sites introducing visitors to the ancient Japanese practice of spending time beneath trees to boost health and happiness. Forest Bathing is the art of connecting with nature through your senses. Listen to bird song; look at the leaves; smell the pine or soil; touch the grass; feel the air. Breath nature in deeply and find calmness and wellbeing.
The 40 acre historic Farm is a must-see for everyone. Say hello to rare breed animals including Red Poll cattle, Clydesdale horses, Leicester Long-wool sheep and Tamworth pigs to name just a few! In its heyday, the Farm was at the heart of the vast Egerton estate feeding family, guests and servants in the Mansion. Experience this fascinating story through our 'Field to Fork' exhibition and learn where food comes from.

Head to the Farm for a summer adventure with Percy the Park Keeper and friends. Join in the fun solving a trail of puzzles and clues...Find the hidden treasure, whilst saying hello to Percy's farmyard pals and their new friend, Lucy the calf!

Explore our impressive State Rooms, fascinating Servant’s Quarters and rare Salviati painting as featured on BBC’s Britain Lost Masterpieces. We’re the only venue in the country with a portrait by Salviati on public display. Tickets on selected dates are available to book online now.
The Parkland bursts with wildlife and blossoms in spring. Blankets of daffodils, bluebells and snowdrops can be spotted throughout the 1,000 acres of beautiful landscape.
