Enjoy fun summer days down on the Farm with an array of summer activities that will delight the whole family.

Learn about daily farming life with regular milking demos, and see Farm machinery in action. Explore the maize maze and outdoor play that allow kids to engage with nature and animals….there is something for everyone! Make the most of your visit to the Farm this summer and plan your day with the activities below. 

Percy the park keeper - The Treasure Hunt ( 19 June - 5 Sept)

Join Percy and his farmyard friends during the summer holidays for more fun adventures. Help Percy the park keeper hunt for the lost ingredients he needs to make his delicious breakfast! Look out for the clues, find the gold coins, and make friends with our real-life Jersey cow, Lucy. Can you be the first to discover Percy (or his friend Petunia!) in his cottage?

Kids will love daily farm fun*

  • Storytelling: Percy the park keeper (in the Bothey)
  • Run wild in the Maize Maze
  • Say hello to our newly hatched chicks
  • Milking demos in the Shippon with Berry our Jersey cow
  • Imagine what it’s like to be the Miller! See and hear the original Mill machinery producing feed for the animals
  • Chocolate coin reward for completing the Treasure Hunt (available while stocks last between 27 July - 27 Aug).

Other events not to be missed at the Farm

Fun Dog Show - 8 August 

Welcome to all pet owners, come and join the Farm Team for a fun filled day for you and your dog! There will be 10 novelty classes to enter, including Cutest Puppy, Waggiest Tail and Golden Oldie, plus a fun agility course - a fun day out for the whole family!

Country Fayre - 28, 29 & 30 August 

A weekend of traditional English fayre and fun. Traditional country crafts, food and drink plus demonstrations and a daily programme of activities to take part in.

Bovine for Beginners - 4 September 

Cows come in all shapes and sizes, and with our ‘Bovine for Beginners’ course, we’ll teach you all about them!
