A mindful walking experience in the beautiful surroundings of Tatton Park with a fully qualified and experienced coach. The session will start with an explanation of how we can use every day sounds around us and in nature as a way to ‘stay present’, and then continue with a seated meditation practice to explore this further. You will then be introduced to how we can use the simple act of walking as a way to help settle the busy mind, before being guided through a further guided practice during which you can explore our wonderful grounds and practice what you have learned. No equipment is necessary, although please come dressed for the weather conditions, as we will be working outdoors wherever possible. If you have a rug, blanket, yoga mat or small stool that you can bring to sit on, this would be helpful but is not essential. Your guide for the session will be Elanor Kortland, who has been practicing mindfulness for over 15 years and is registered with BAMBA, the British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches, and who is also a qualified yoga teacher. Park entry on the day of the event is included within the ticket price.
