This year Tatton Park will once again hold a Japanese Summer Matsuri Festival in association with the Japanese Embassy, Japan Society Northwest and JETAA Northwest. This year’s Matsuri will showcase some of the best authentic Japanese cultural experiences in the Northwest. Come along to see ikebana flower arranging and the tea ceremony, listen to Japanese musical performances, and take part in traditional art & craft activities such as calligraphy, origami, and Japanese dance workshops. Some of the leading specialists in Japanese culture in the UK will also be present to answer your questions about the country and its people. Moreover, all this will take place amongst the cherry trees and against the backdrop of Tatton Park’s very own, fabulous Japanese Garden.
This event is included in standard garden entry (National Trust members enter the garden free, parkland vehcile entry applies.)
