Saturday 14th March
If you're looking for new and rewarding experiences this year, maybe you would would love to get involved in our tree planting project?
Tatton Park are planting up to 3000 new trees over the next few weeks. Why not join us in reducing the carbon footprint of Knutsford and the surrounding area by volunteering your time and green fingers. These new trees will help clean our air by absorbing more carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen for us to breathe.
Be a volunteer!
We'd love to welcome you as a volunteer, so if you can spare a few hours of your time, please just turn up on the day from 9.30am.
All volunteers can enter Tatton Park via the main entrance (Ashley Road, Rostherne, WA16 6SG) and gain free access to the Park. Leave your name with our gate staff on arrival and they will direct you to our main par park. Please then make your way to the Garden Entrance for 10am.
Our Head Gardener, Simon Tetlow, will meet and brief volunteers before heading into the Gardens. A half-hour lunch break is planned at 12:30pm so please bring your own lunch or use the onsite catering facilities. Once you've finished tree planting for the day, you're welcome to stay beyond 3pm and explore the Garden until closing at 4pm.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing, sturdy footwear and a pair of gardening gloves.
