Host a fun and stress free summer picnic at Tatton Park with your nearest and dearest, available to pre-order now, for collections from Friday 21st August.
The centrepiece to your day out
The Head Gardener’s picnic for two (or one for smaller appetites!) showcases the best of local and estate produce. Fill your picnic rug with delightfully light sandwiches, mini tarts made with Tatton’s Walled Kitchen Garden produce and local Cheshire cheese, zingy mini lemon drizzle cakes and Gardener’s Cottage signature scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, perfectly paired with a choice of either Victorian Lemonade or Ginger Beer.
A picnic for two with a view
Escape with your picnic to Tatton’s picturesque Parkland where you’ll have 1,000 acres to choose your perfect picnicking spot. Your picnic comes with a handy parkland map of ‘Tatton’s Tremendous Views’ – which you can easily get to on foot or by car. Sit back, feel the grass between your toes and delight in your picnic whilst looking out across Tatton’s stunning Mere’s.
Grab your picnic rugs!
There’ll be no soggy bottoms for your sandwiches when you can pre-order your picnic, now, online and choose a convenient day and time to collect it from the Gardener’s Cottage in the Stableyard. All you need is your picnic rug! (And if you haven’t got one - we sell a range in our Gift Shop)

The Tatton Park Vision
The `Tatton Park Vision’ is the park’s 5 year vision for its visitor activities and aims to substantially develop its visitor experience by increasing the attractions and activities on offer. In delivering the vision the aim is to fully realise Tatton Park’s potential and present the best possible experience for its current and new visitors in order to provide new and sustainable income to help manage and conserve the historic estate into the future. This will be done through a programme of investment by Cheshire East Council and the attraction of new business. For more information about the vision visit www.tattonpark.org.uk/vision
