Not only do the Mansion interiors show the elegant taste and
styling of a Regency country house, they also reveal something of
the lives and experiences of the Egerton family and their
servants.
The richness and grandeur of the State Apartments contrast with
the more intimate, less formal atmosphere of the Family Rooms,
while the Servants' Quarters and Cellars give a contrasting glimpse
of domestic life.
