Your Group Visit to Tatton Park

Group visits to Tatton Park should be pre-booked in Servant in the Great Hall - Mick Rickettsorder to qualify for discounted entry prices to the attractions.

Booking in advance of your visit also allows free entry for coaches (mini-buses and cars are required to pay the £6 park entry charge), a restaurant voucher for the coach driver and the option to book dedicated lunch and high tea packages with the Stables Restaurant and Gardener's Cottage tea room. A free familiarisation trip can be arranged for the group organiser.  Pre-booked visits enjoy Tatton's  "meet and greet" service on arrival. Groups are classed as parties of 15 or more people.

Please note that a guided tour of about 1 hour’s duration is included in the price of admission to the Old Hall.  The Old Hall is open during high season during select days and specially-themed weekends, however arrangements can be made to welcome groups on other days.

Guided ToursMr Cork and Mrs New

The Medieval Old Hall is open to the public during a select number of days during high season and for special weekend events.  During the school term time, groups can visit the Old Hall from 3pm as it is used for education workshops during the day.  It can be opened upon special request to visit during the weekends but we require a minimum group size of 15 and pre-payment:  £5.50 per adult, £4 per child (ages 4-15) is required in advance of your visit. One-hour guided tour included. 

Tatton Park's Guided tours will enhance your visit - these can be a general tour by one of our entertaining guides with an insight into Tatton's unique history and special features, tales from the estate and of the lives of the Egerton family and workers who lived here. General tours of the Mansion or Garden start from £85 per group of 25 people. Special Interest tours in the Mansion start from £110 per group of 25 people. In the Gardens, we offer the Japanese Garden tour from £110 per group of 15 people max.

  • Mansion : Hidden Treasures (your guide will reveal secrets of special pieces of furniture or a historic book from our treasured collection of 5,000 in the library), Mr New and Mrs Cork (meet our butler and housekeeper during this engaging costumed interpretation of life "below stairs" working for Lord and Lady Egerton)
  • Garden: Japanese Garden tour (your party will have exclusive access inside our famed Japanese Garden which dates from 1910, inspired by the Anglo-Japanese Exhibition in London. Learn about the natural elements and artefacts on display, all harmonising with nature)
