Learning Courses and Activities
Tatton Park offers a diverse programme of activities for adults,
families and children which take place in a variety of stimulating
environments. The courses and activities can enable you to explore
this rich and fascinating heritage site and to develop your own
talents or just have fun.
If not for you, why not purchase a ‘gift of time’ at Tatton by
selecting one of the programmes for your friends or family? Courses
range from lectures and horticulture classes to wildlife walks,
longbow sessions, creative crafts and special hands-on-history
activity tasters.
There are also two special hands-on discovery mornings for
children at the atmospheric Old Hall including a Viking morning and
a fun session on medieval cooking and trying on armour.
For aspiring small holders ‘Home to Roost' is a farm run
course about keeping poultry. If you are creative then there are
opportunities to work with practitioners to produce a willow based
sculpture, watercolours, ceramics and much more.
If you require further information about the types of courses we
hold at Tatton, please select from the menu on the left. These
are organised into different ‘themes’ for ease of selection.
