The Nutcracker Mansion 2014
The mansion is now closed until March 29th 2014 except
for Christmas events.
Welcome to the festive Mansion reminiscent of the enchanting
tale of The Nutcracker.
Step into the world of the Stahlbaum family as Clara and Fritz
celebrate a traditional Christmas with their family and
Visit the spectacular Dining Room first, which is laden
with festive treats ready for the family to enjoy, then stroll
towards the grand Christmas tree in the Staircase Hall and listen
to live music. The story continues in the Library where the battle
betwen the gingerbread soldiers, captained by Clara's nutcracker
doll, has commenced against the mice who are led by the Mouse
King. Follow Clara's journey as she weaves her way
through the Christmas Forest to the Land of Sweets.
Christmas is not only evident in the grand
staterooms; the bustling servants’ quarters will also be getting
into the festive spirit. In the Still Room our
costumed kitchen maids will be cooking Christmas delicacies,
and visitors can also learn how to create beautiful decorations for
their own home during free demonstrations in the servants’
festive displays including fresh garlands from the parkland.
