Amazed by Science at Tatton Park, 25 May - 2 June 2019
Experience science brought to life at Tatton Park this May half-term! Take part in trails in our Gardens and Mansion and talks and demos down at the Farm - there's a full programme of fun for the entire family to follow. As part of our Field to Fork campaign, this year we're learning all about where your food comes from and its journey from the field to your fork.
Follow the Caterpillar Trail in the Kitchen Gardens to learn more about fruit, vegetables and herbs and have a go at planting something to take home.
Pick up a Field to Fork Garden trail to learn about the tasty and unusual foods grown in our Gardens, in the past and present.
Wander the Field to Fork Parkland Trail to uncover how the Parkland provided food for the estate, and how we care for it today.
Find the missing ingredients on the Field to Fork Mansion Trail for Chef Joubert's recipe, and look at the preparations behind the scenes for Tatton's Ball!
Download the Field to Fork App for the Farm, and discover technology and innovation, a kids trail and plenty for adults too. Search 'Tatton Park's Farm' on the appstores.
Book onto a Chocolate Making Workshop to learn the science behind chocolate making and the story of its creation, from bean to bar! This event must be pre-booked.
