Hop along to Easter Story Time at Tatton Park with the Lindt Gold Bunny
If you visit Tatton Park during the Easter holidays you may well see a flash of gold bunny ears or hear the gentle tinkle of a bell as the Lindt Gold Bunny joins in once again with this year’s enchanting Story Time theme.
Following on from the huge success of last year’s event Lindt and Tatton Park have created yet another magical programme of fun activities for visitors to Tatton this Easter. Some of our favourite stories again give inspiration for this excitement and the event is set to be one of the most attractive family days out in the region not least because of the prospect of a Lindt chocolate reward!
The garden team have looked to the brothers Grimm to make their adventures in the gardens. Visitors are invited to join the Lindt Gold Bunny and go on the most fabulous journey where they’ll find Sleeping Beauty asleep in the maze and discover the most wonderful gingerbread house in the dell. If the slipper fits, then they will go to the Conservatory ball …..if they arrive before midnight! They’ll need to remember to look in the mirror to see if they really are the fairest in the land.
Spring will most certainly have arrived at the farm with the likely arrival of their first lambs to join the Lindt Gold Bunny. There’s a new resident in the woods this year ……..THE BEASTIE….. and the farm animals need help to get their honey without waking him. Visitors will be able to see him lurking in the woods IF THEY DARE! The Lindy Gold Bunny will be there to help and there’s a honey trail around the farm to be rewarded with a chocolate bunny treat!
Visitors can go searching for the Lindt Gold Bunny amongst Tatton’s treasures in the mansion and are invited to come dressed as a pirate a meet Long John Silver’s parrot.
And there’s plenty more Story Time magic, laughter and fun in the Stableyard during the Easter weekend where Poz the magician will dazzle with his repertoire of magic shows and one of the north’s best loved entertainers, Mr Bimbamboozle, will be topping up the fun with Punch and Judy puppet theatre.
Throughout the weekend children can sit down and listen in to a programme of story telling sessions throughout the park.
The shops will also be taking part with the Lindt Easter Bunny theme. There are also many fine products to browse and buy at The Easter Crafts and Country Shopping Fair in the Tenants’ Hall Easter Saturday to Monday, which is free to enter.
