What to Wear

Please advise children to wear suitable clothes and footwear depending on the activity/activities you have chosen.

Tatton is very cold during the winter, even in the Mansion! If you are wearing a costume for Living History, don’t forget to put on several layers and bring a coat too. Suitable strong footwear is necessary as some walking will be involved wherever you go.

Arrival Times

Please plan to arrive at Tatton 15 minutes before your booked time. This will allow you to walk from the coach park to the site you are visiting. If you are going to the Old Hall, please ensure your coach driver takes you to the Old Hall Car Park, otherwise it will take you 30 minutes to walk!

Late Arrivals

For Study Tours, schools are booked in intervals, so if you are running late, you may have to wait for the next available slot.

For all activities please try to advise us if you think you may be late

 

Parking

There is parking for coaches in the main car park for the Mansion, Farm and Gardens. Further information regarding parking and meeting the guide will be included in your booking pack. The Old Hall is a mile away, so please do ensure that the driver follows the signs to this area.
