ArcheryLifelong Learning at Tatton Park

Come and uncover your potential at Tatton Park

Tatton Park offers a diverse programme of adult courses that take place across the Park and provide an insight into various aspects of Tatton. The courses provide the ideal opportunity for those enthusiastic about Tatton and its environment to explore their curiosity, and provide inspiration and motivation for those people wishing to broaden their knowledge in specific transferable skills.
Environmental walk
Courses range from horticulture, and wildlife walks with the rangers, to Longbow sessions, willow-weaving, felt-making and watercolour classes.  This year we have introduced the exciting and fascinating Early Morning Bird Walk.

There is also a special week of events during Adult Learners Week each May where taster sessions are offered free of charge for those looking to gain insight into certain areas.

This year’s theme is art and the environment and we have a special artist, Lesley Martin, coming in to take a session on environmental art. Using items collected from around the park you will create your own unique art piece and take home a little bit of Tatton.

Alternatively, join the rangers for a walk on the wild side and discover Tatton’s wildlife, uncover the skills needed to create a piece of art on glass or broaden your understanding of the artworks within the Mansion by joining us on an exclusive private tour.
