Special Needs
We have an equal opportunities policy at Tatton Park and welcome children with special needs. We allow one adult free entry for every special needs child that comes to Tatton.
Hearing Loop
A Hearing Loop system is available on request in the Knutsford Education Room and Farm School Room. A Mobile Hearing Loop System is available for all other locations.
Visually Impaired
A Braille book and large print guides are available at the Mansion by prior arrangement. We also have sensory lists for all of our sites.
Disabled Access
There is wheelchair access to the Gardens, Old Hall (lower level only), Mansion (lower level only) and Farm.
Limited Mobility
Please let us know and we can advise
Fully accessible toilets are available at all attractions.
Facilities
As well as the main attractions, we have other facilities at Tatton Park:
Lunchtime Facilities
There are picnic tables in the Stableyard, Adventure Playground and at the Old Hall.
Indoor accommodation is limited particularly during our busy time in May, June and July and not always available for Study Tours. Please discuss this at the time of booking.
There is the possibility of a classroom being available for children to have their lunches in if they have visited the site for a study tour. In this case children are to leave their lunch on the coaches (where possible) while on the Study Tour. The room holds up to 40 children.
Indoor accommodation is always available for full day Living History and Parkland bookings.
Teachers are always expected to stay with the children during the lunch-break, as Study Tour guides are provided for the tour only and not for lunch-breaks. Teachers are in full charge of their children at lunchtime.

Why not give the children a fun half hour in our large, safe and varied play area suitable for children of all ages, situated close to the main car and coach park? (Teacher supervision applies.)
Toilets
Fully accessible facilities, are available in the Stableyard, at the Mansion, Farm and Old Hall.
Shops
The main shops are located in the Stableyard, where there is a Gift Shop, Housekeeper’s Store, Tuck Shop and Garden Shop. There are also small shops at the Old Hall and Farm.
Children must be supervised in small groups. During the busy summer months, advanced orders for ice-creams, etc can be placed directly with Tatton Gifts on 01625 374423.
