Visitor Activities

The 1,000 acre parkland provides ample opportunity to walk, run, cycle, fly a kite, horse ride and have a picnic.

Walking/Cycling

Visitors can freely enjoy Tatton’s 1,000 acres of parkland and woodland on bike or on foot. Bikes can be rented from Cycle Life Hire in the stableyard to suit all ages/requirements (click here for more information). There are woodland/parkland walks and a nature trail marked on the Parkland map.

Tatton Park Sound Walk

Visitors can now enjoy a new experience at Tatton. The Sound Walk is an evocative and enjoyable one hour journey through the Estate's parkland.  Created by Lucie Potter during her oneplace artist's residency the trail is based on Tatton Park's history and has been made by Tatton's staff and visitors.
