A visit to Home Farm is ideal in any weather!
Nearly all the farm animals can be met under cover. Our rare breed pigs and their piglet litters can be seen in the Piggery with close up views through specially designed glass windows. Our 3 lovely donkeys are safe inside their stable and Rosie the Red Poll and her calf can be seen in the cow shed.
Tatton's new indoor hatchery is a wonderful educational experience where children can see newly hatched chicks and ducklings at peak times.

The new all weather play area is proving a great success with Farm visitors. Toddlers and children up to 10 years old can have great fun with the pedal tractors and trailers of their choice. Mum and Dad can relax at tables and benches provided and watch the little ones playing safely undercover.
If you're looking for somewhere to sit and have your picnic then the Farm's educational barn room also has designated eating area with washing facilities and on-site toilets.
Other indoor attractions include Aunt Mary's cottage and the Farm's pottery
The Farms also hosts activities during the school holidays all of which can be held under cover if needed including donkey grooming and scarecrow making.
For those wanting to take cover on route to the Farm Tatton's very own land train is a fun way to travel to the Farm from the Car Park and operates weekends and School Holidays
